Saints 5K
Calling all OCS families and friends! Lace up your running shoes and get ready for some fun!  The SPO is excited to announce a new school tradition, the Inaugural Saints 5K and Fun Run that will take place around our campus on November 2, 2019. Our new annual tradition will be a fun, family event that will attract runners from all over our community and will continue to grow each year.

Below are a few quick tips to get you started:

  • Sign up for the 5K or Fun Run as an individual or a team by registering online here. Use code EARLYBIRD5 to get $5 off during the month of September.
  • ‭Students: Become a fundraiser for your run, walk or virtual run by creating an online fundraising page or by using the donor page from your packet that was sent home last week. Just think, if every student simply raises $100 over their entry fee, we could bless our school with $100,000!!! Need fundraising ideas? Check out our Fundraising Tips to get started.
  • Spread the word! Invite your family, friends, neighbors, sport teams, church groups or business associates to join in on the fun!!
  • ‭Show up for the fun at the Saints Inaugural 5K! ‬

Be A Great Saints Fan!
Wear your OCS gear and be LOUD for our Saints! Be respectful at all times. Sportsmanship has been an area of focus for this school year. We are proud of how our coaches and teams reflect Christ in action and word and would encourage all Saints fans to consider the importance of our actions/words during events. You are an important witness as a member of the OCS crowd in the perception people have of our school. Please be especially respectful of our officials. We appreciate their work.

Elementary Sports
We want to partner with families to unify our youth sports teams. We are in the process of creating a list of all youth sports associations so that parents can get information from one place. We also want to help connect families to teams with other OCS families. If you coach a youth sports team, please email Erin Johnson ( so we can put you on a contact list. We hope to have this information available soon. We are often asked for the availability of our facilities for youth sports practice. There is currently a board policy that does not allow any teams outside of our middle school and high school teams to use the sports facilities for a variety of reasons.

Broadcasting of Sporting Events
We are excited to announce our partnership with NFHS network in broadcasting our games this year. We have purchased and installed an automated camera system for the football field and the gym. It will broadcast all middle school, junior varsity, and varsity athletic events with a subscription. It will also broadcast non-athletic events (assemblies, concerts, etc.) free of charge. Click here to subscribe. Below is subscription information:

Month Pass

  • Current – $9.95
  • New – $10.95 starting 11/1/19 – Tell your fans to buy before then (any Month Passes bought before 11/1 will continue to auto-renew at the original $9.95 price point)!

Annual Pass

  • Current – price is $70

We are still in the process of installing our scoreboard controller so you can see the score during the football games. That should be ready to go in the next 2 weeks.
