Why I'm Chairing the Auction

When I was first asked to chair the auction, I thought the job was too big for me to do this year.
I continued to think about the auction and ideas for it and I couldn't seem to get it off my mind.
One day, I was walking into Target and God reminded me of when Riley was in 4th grade and Mrs. Troester prayed on her knees every morning in front of the class. She set an example of how we talk to God and show him respect and sincerity.
God told me that someone before us provided a way for her to be in that classroom. I felt like He was saying that if I don't ask you to do anything else during your time at OCS, I'm asking you to do this. So, of course, my response was yes.
I have been amazed at the prayer and support that comes with the auction. I pray that God will do exactly what He wants with it this year.
