The 1st Annual OCS Jazz Camp will be an awesome experience for all who want to learn more about Jazz! We have an outstanding staff of professional musician/educators who will work with small groups and the full Big Bands. Students will develop improvisational skills, learn to play a variety of jazz styles and rehearse and perform Big Band Charts. Prospective students will prepare an 8-16 measure musical excerpt of their choice to determine placement in the Intermediate or Advanced Jazz Band.

Prospective students will prepare an 8-16 measure musical excerpt of their choice for placement in either the Intermediate or Advanced Bands. Students will develop and strengthen individual instrumental music skills through focused rehearsal and performance of traditional and contemporary Concert Band music.
