OCS High School Building Update

April 24, 2012

This week we are watching the roads and parking lot being installed at the new high school. Outside the building, the curbs and black-top give the area definition; on the exterior of the building you will see various, stone, brick, color, and textures matching the Student Center. Thankfully it doesn't look like a prison anymore.

On the inside the rooms are clearly defined by metal studs. Electricity and plumbing courses through the walls and stacks of sheetrock signal the next steps.

The OCS Board is happy to announce an Open House event for Sunday afternoon, May 6 (following baccalaureate). We invite families to view the new high school building and take the opportunity to bless future generations. We'll have markers to hand out and hope to cover the floors with written prayers, Scriptures, and blessings.  Though the carpet and tile will cover them, it will be great to know we are standing on blessing in days to come.

During the Open House, the Board will also host a come and go reception for Mr. Caldwell.  This is an opportunity to say thank you for his 12 years of service and offer blessings for his new role at Oklahoma Bible Academy in Enid.
