7th – 8th Grade Elective Tracks
Track 1: Band
Basic musicianship is taught leading to various performance activities. It is the goal of this class to further the student’s interests in music and encourage the self-discipline required attaining a feeling of individual accomplishment in group achievement. Music provides an opportunity to communicate, create and perform in the Arts. All music classes include study of the elements of music, music history and performance. The band classes offer opportunities for students to perform in large groups, small ensembles and even solos. Band is a yearlong class.

A trimester rotation of the following courses: Study Skills, Creative Writing and Health
Track II: Eighth Grade
A semester of Spanish and a semester of Economics
