ELEMENTARY CURRICULUM OVERVIEW
Our elementary courses are the framework on which we build a strong academic program. Our foundation is Christ-centered and biblically-based. The academic program at OCS exists for the purpose of affecting lives for the Kingdom of God. Our passion is to be found faithful in all aspects of education.
Pre-Kindergarten
The Pre-Kindergarten program is designed to be foundational for social and academic school readiness. Within a loving, nurturing, Christ-centered environment and under the direction of a certified teacher, children learn Bible truths, memorize scripture, and are instructed in beginning phonics, numbers, and language skills. Organizational skills are practiced, as well as learning to work independently and in groups. Instruction continues in art, music, and play centers.
