Chapel day:
Regular chapel days are Wednesdays. Occasionally, we will deviate from Wednesdays when we have school-wide events such as Grandparents’ Day, Veterans Day, Thanksgiving chapel, and Easter chapel.
Chapel times:
8:15 – 9:00 3rd, 4th and 5th graders
9:10 – 9:40 PreK, Kindergarten, 1st and 2nd graders
Chapel location:
OCS Auditorium (Upper Elementary Building)
Visitors:
Parents and other guests are welcome to join us for chapel. Please sign in at the elementary office and obtain a visitor’s badge before going into the school auditorium.
Chapel Dress:
The dress code for students is modified slightly on chapel days.
Girls dress:
Skirts, dresses, or dress pants with a nice shirt/blouse/sweater/jacket. (no jeans or shorts)
Skirts and dresses must be at the knee. (even if leggings or tights are worn underneath)
School-appropriate footwear. (no rubber flip-flops on chapel days)
Shorts must be worn under dresses.
Boys dress:
Pants, nice jeans, or dress shorts
A collared shirt, buttoned and tucked in
Belt (if pants have belt loops)
No sweatshirts or oversized shirts (such as polar fleece pullovers/jacket)
