Band Director: Michael Brown
The OCS Bands have established a pattern of excellence in all areas of musical performance. The music department regularly advances to the State Level for Concert and Jazz Bands in High School competitions. As part of the OSSAA, the Middle School Bands attend District Concert Band Contest as well as Solo & Ensemble District Contest for 7th-12th grades. Our students regularly earn chairs in various Honor Bands including: CODA District Honor Band, OBU Regional Honor Band, All-State Band, Cimarron Valley and the Green Country Honor Bands.
OCS students also participate in Football & Basketball Pep Bands as well as the opportunity to perform in the Pit Orchestra for the High School Musical.
The HS Students regularly travel out-of-state to regional Concert and Jazz Festivals and performances including a trip to Washington DC every four years.
